Today we printed and spelled words with the tricky letter Yy in them. Y can be a consonant or a vowel!
In math, the students placed number cards on the 100 carpet, attempting to put them in order from 1 to 100! Then they filled in their own 100 chart as high as they could go. In journals, the kids wrote about their Halloween costumes. In social studies the students were introduced to the terms "rural" and "urban". We will be building a rural mural in the next few days as we learn how communities are not all the same. A notice went home today about head lice. It would be a good idea to check your child's scalp. Everyone received a book to keep from TD bank! Please remember the Halloween Dance coming up this Thursday!
