Today we worked on our stories and we learned about editing for capitals and periods.
In math we did another session of trading our pretend money. NJ came up with trading 10 nickels for 2 quarters. Good idea! The students are becoming more familiar with counting money, remembering to always begin with the highest coins. In social studies the kids wrote about their special Calgary place/thing. In PE we worked on different ways of traveling such as crawling, side-stepping, hopping and rolling. Skipping Club starts next Tuesday at lunch for all who want to skip! LIBRARY tomorrow and lots of kids have overdue books.
